Additional Notes:
The film is based on Edogawa Ranpo's short story Strange Tale of Panorama Island (1926).
Edogawa Ranpo (also translated as Edogawa Rampo) was a pseudonym of author Taro Hirai (October 21, 1894 - July 28, 1965). His pseudonym was intended to sound like "Edgar Allan Poe".
The score was recorded on October 25, 1969.
Only three cues from this score have been previously released on Compact Disc, found on disc 8 of King Records' King of Monsters box set (KICA 2201~10), released in 1994. The cues are:
