Description:
Premiere release of the score to Yoji Yamada's "Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness" (10/01/1977). This is the fourth of five volumes in Shochiku Records' Anokoro Film Soundtrack Series. Bonus tracks include unused cues and a stock cue from "Runaway Detective" (1976). Music composed by Masaru Sato except for track 26, which is a traditional folk song. All music is in mono.

Description:
Part of Film Score Monthly's Silver Age Classics series, this album marks the premiere release of John Williams' score to the Japanese-American co-production of "None but the Brave" (01/15/1965 [Japan], 02/24/1965 [United States]), directed by and starring Frank Sinatra. In addition to the complete score mixed from the the original ½' three-track stereo scoring masters, the album includes a piano performance of the main theme (performed by John Williams), source music, alternate versions of cue 1M2 and single recordings of a vocal version film's theme and a vocal version of David Raksin's theme from "Sylvia" (1965), from the flip side of the single. Music composed by John Williams (as Johnny Williams) and conducted by Morris Stoloff. All music is in stereo except for tracks 19, 24 and 25, which are in mono.
