Description:
Premiere release of the score to Yoji Yamada's "Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness" (10/01/1977). This is the fourth of five volumes in Shochiku Records' Anokoro Film Soundtrack Series. Bonus tracks include unused cues and a stock cue from "Runaway Detective" (1976). Music composed by Masaru Sato except for track 26, which is a traditional folk song. All music is in mono.

The film is also known as "The Yellow Handkerchief".
The Anokoro Film Soundtrack Series was released to coincide with Shochiku's Anokoro Film DVD/Blu-ray series. The brief soundtrack series consisted of five volumes released by Shochiku Music Publishing's in-house label, Shochiku Records. "Anokoro" translates to "at that time" or "of that time".
