Premiere release (on CD) of the score to Noriaki Yuasa's "Gamera vs. Giant Evil Beast Guiron" (03/12/1969). In addition to the score, the album includes two sound effects tracks. Bonus material includes an outtake for "Guiron" and "Gamera vs. Giant Devil Beast Jiger" as well as two cues from "Gamera vs. Deep Sea Monster Zigra" that were left off of Daiei Film BGM Collection: Gamera vs. Giant Devil Beast Jiger & Gamera vs. Deep Sea Monster Zigra Music File (VPCD-81160) due to disc space limitations. Music composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi. All music is in mono.

Additional Notes:

The film is known as "Attack of the Monsters" and "Gamera vs. Guiron".

While this marks the first (and currently only time) this score has been released on CD, it oddly was first released on LaserDisc of all places. It was part of the mammoth Gamera Permanent Preservation Project box set released in 1991.

This album is the second volume in a four volume series titled Daiei Film BGM Collection. The series only consists of scores from the Showa Gamera films, with the volumes being:

As pointed out earlier in the post, the final three bonus tracks were left off of the fourth volume (Daiei Film BGM Collection: Gamera vs. Giant Devil Beast Jiger & Gamera vs. Deep Sea Monster Zigra Music File) and have been placed on this album. While the "Jiger" track was unused in that film, the "Zigra" tracks on the other hand were used in that respective film.
