The full Japanese title for "Duel at Ganryu Island" is "Musashi Miyamoto Concluding Chapter: Duel at Ganryu Island" (『宮本武蔵完結篇決闘巌流島』).

As for "Meoto Zanzai", the title can be translated in a variety of ways, with examples being something like "Hooray for Marriage" or "Sweet Beans for Two" (both translation are used for the film's Wikipedia article). Due to the varying context between the various translations, I went ahead with the romanization of the title, which is also one of the titles the film is known as.

Unfortunately, the tapes for "Independent Machine Gun Corps Still Shooting" ("Outpost of Hell") are lost. The inclusion of the title cue from the film was made possible due to a 6mm tape copy which Ikuma Dan had in his possession.

As for the bonus tracks on disc 1: O.S.C. is an oscillator signal made prior to the recording of a particular score. It consists of a 1 kHz tone followed by a 7 kHz tone. The signal was used for adjusting differences among the recording equipment. On the cue sheets for various scores, the signal is documented as "OSC" or something similar and is often the first thing recorded on the tapes. The signal is followed by the title credits, which is the film's title (or partial title) being called out when recording begins. The title credits included on this album are from the recording sessions of "Hawaii · Midway Sea and Sky Battle: Storm of the Pacific" ("Storm Over the Pacific"), "Great World War" ("The Last War") and "Wings of the Pacific" ("Attack Squadron!"). Pi is the end recording signal. It's the last thing often documented on the cue sheets.
